This is an old revision of the document!
To make it so that Ubuntu will not prompt you to upgrade to a new release of Ubuntu, including LTS releases, do the following:
- Open
/etc/update-manager/release-upgradesin a text editor:sudo nano /etc/update-manager/release-upgrades
- Change the bottom line to “Prompt=never” as in the picture below.
